Our football academy sessions are designed to help every player develop their football skills, confidence and understanding of the game in a fun, positive and supportive environment. Each session will follow a structured plan, with activities designed around the players’ age and ability. Players will work on a range of key areas, including: Ball mastery: Developing close control, dribbling, turning and confidence with the ball. Passing and receiving: Learning to pass accurately, receive the ball effectively and make good decisions. 1v1 skills: Developing attacking moves, changes of direction and the confidence to take on opponents. Finishing: Practising different types of finishes and learning how to create and take scoring opportunities. Defending: Understanding positioning, tackling, tracking opponents and working together as a defensive unit. Movement and decision-making: Learning when and where to move, creating space and making effective choices during play. Small-sided games: Putting the skills from the session into realistic game situations, encouraging players to think, communicate and apply what they have learned. Teamwork and confidence: Developing communication, resilience, respect and a positive attitude towards learning. Every session will have a clear learning objective, so players understand what they are working towards. Coaches will demonstrate, encourage and provide feedback throughout the session, while allowing players plenty of opportunities to practise and make decisions for themselves. Most importantly, we want players to enjoy football, develop their confidence and leave every session having learned something new. Our aim is not simply to teach players how to perform individual skills, but to help them understand when, where and why to use those skills in a game.

Camp notes

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you and your child to our upcoming Football Camp!
Our sessions are designed to give children aged 5–15 the opportunity to develop their football skills, build confidence, make new friends and, most importantly, have fun in a positive and supportive environment.

What can your child expect?
The camp will be delivered by experienced PE specialists and football coaches, with activities adapted to suit different ages and ability levels.
Throughout the camp, children will have the opportunity to work on:

⚽ Ball control and dribbling
🎯 Passing and receiving
πŸ₯… Shooting and finishing
πŸƒ Speed, agility and movement
🀝 Teamwork and communication
🧠 Decision-making and game awareness
πŸ† Small-sided games and competitions
We understand that children attending will have a wide range of football experience, from beginners to more experienced players. Our aim is to make sure every child is challenged at an appropriate level and feels included.
More than just football
Although football is at the heart of the camp, we also want children to develop skills that they can take away from the experience.
We encourage confidence, resilience, teamwork, respect and good sportsmanship throughout every session. Children will be encouraged to support one another, try new things and learn from mistakes in a fun and positive environment.

Different ages, different needs
With children ranging from 5 to 15 years old, activities will be organised with age and ability in mind. Younger children will have an emphasis on enjoyment, basic movement and developing fundamental football skills, while older players can be challenged with more advanced technical, tactical and competitive activities.
What should children bring?
Please ensure your child arrives prepared for an active day. We recommend bringing:
Football kit or comfortable sports clothing
Suitable trainers/football boots
Plenty of water
A packed lunch and snacks if required
Weather-appropriate clothing
Sun cream and a hat for warmer weather
Please make sure your child has enough water for the duration of the session, particularly during warmer weather.
A message to parents
We want parents to feel confident that their children are being looked after, supported and encouraged throughout the camp.
Our coaches will promote a positive, respectful and inclusive environment where children can enjoy being active, develop their football ability and, above all, have fun.

We ask parents to support us by encouraging their children, celebrating effort and enjoyment, and allowing our coaches to lead the sessions.

Most importantly, we want every child to leave the camp thinking:

β€œI had fun, I learned something new, and I can’t wait to play again!”

Thank you for trusting us with your children, and we look forward to seeing you at the camp!
